Tips for clothes maintenance

Maintenance and storage: 

Remember that clothes should not be washed routinely, but only when they really need a wash. Most stains can be treated locally, thanks to nature and clothes for the few washing intervals! Airing freshens most materials, try airing your pants as well. Especially for wool, ventilation is an excellent freshening method! We recommend the clothes brush as part of garment maintenance, it replaces the sticker brush and removes many stains, dander and animal hair. Especially for the Ponto roma knit of neat trousers, the adhesive brush is the perfect helper; brush the outside and inside of the pants and you can easily remove both the dust from the outside and the dandruff that has come off the skin without unnecessary washing.

A clothes steamer is also a great helper, because you can get your clothes fresh and clean easily and quickly. The steamer is suitable for all our materials when you choose the right temperature.

Store the garment in an airy manner, wool and lyocell products should not be hung from the shoulders, as this may affect the shape of the garment. If you want to store the products on a hanger, you should fold them on the horizontal side of the hanger. You can store the trousers in an airy cut or with the horizontal side of the hanger.

Washing, drying and ironing:

Follow the washing instructions on the product's care label. Lyocell products are washed gently with a delicate wash, lyocell cannot withstand hard spinning. Ponto roma pants can also be washed with a delicate wash program. All clothes should be washed inside out, as it saves the surface of the fabric. Always wash clothes with similar colours. If the product has cords or ribbons, you should definitely tie them before washing and close the zippers and buttons.

None of our products are intended to be dried in a dryer, the dryer wears the surface of the garment, fades colours and increases shrinkage. Dry the clothes airily and loosely, wool and lyocell products should be dried flat.

Especially Ponto roma pants, knitted skirts and merino wool products should be styled after washing. Tailoring means shaping the garment, i.e. gently stretching the legs back to their length, for example.
